VIsiting Oak and Kaneil in Exiter, CA

We stopped in to see Oak and KaNeil on the way up to San Jose. It's really nice that they live only a few hours away from Grandma and Grandpa Crawford. We got to see their new house and also the McDermont Field House. We did all kinds of things there. They went on a huge inflatable slide, had $40 each to play video games and also played lazer tag. Mason even tried to surf there! Oak took us to a yummy pizza place after to top the day off before we headed up to San Jose.

Swim Team June 2009

The boys are really enjoying Swim team this year. They are doing so well and just finished the Butterfly stroke. They were both on relay teams that earned blue ribbons! Way to go!!! We left last week for California to go and do hair and to be with family for the week and missed out on Breast Stroke. Eli was glad to miss that stroke. They got disqualified last year by doing a flutter kick instead of the breast stroke kick.... kinda funny....one day they will like breast stroke, but for now, they just like free style and butterfly....

Cinco De Mayo Party

Shelly Turner invited us to a Cinco de Mayo Party! We had so much fun! The food was delicious and the costume that Dave Allen had to be documented! Love the fake mustache Dave! :)We had tacos, burritos, churros and a Pinata at the end! We've had so much fun being in our new ward. It's funny because we live in the same house, but have been in 3 different wards. This one has been very fun and welcoming!

Remember I'm REALLY new to this...and am trying to catch up! I probably shouldn't be back tracking so much....but I thought I'd include this since the reason I want to learn how to blog is because I want some kind of a family journal!!!

Trying to figure this whole thing out....

So my friend Tawni showed me...actually she set up my blog today. Didn't she do a great job? I swear...I am so backwards when it comes to any of this kind of stuff. I think it's a good thing I'm surrounded by people that "keep up with the times" cuz I would be lost without them! So, here I am trying to figure out how to do this tonight. I"m totally flying solo and it kind of stinks! I tried to upload some pictures, but as you can see....I didn't get them there. So, I thought I'd start with a little paragraph or something to see if I can actually make something appear without any help. Ready?

Houseboat Fun

We went to the Houseboat this past weekend with the Allen's & the Stephens.

We had so much fun, as you can see.

All the boys kept jumping off the side of the boat, while we tried to capture the moment.

Dance Your Little Heart Out!!!!

 

 

Abbie has taken up ballet this year. She is doing really well! She love Ms. Robbin Elowe her ballet teacher. As you can see, Abbie is a little bit of a "ham". Her facial expressions are priceless! We loved coming to see her at her demonstration. We didn't get to see her practice the whole year since dance lessons are at Ms Robbin's house. So this was a treat to see all that she had learned!!!
